メコンデルタツアー (31-May)

ベトナム2日目は
朝8時から夕方までの1日ツアー（メコンデルタのミトー町へ）に
参加しました。
メコンデルタツアーを行っている代理店は沢山ありますが、我々は
「M.T.Brother's」というところに決めました。
理由は一人7USDと一番安いから。

よって、早起きして8時前には集合場所へ。
朝食を食べる時間が無かったので
その辺のスタンドで「もちバナナ」を炭火で焼いて
ココナッツソースをかけた甘い甘いお菓子を買って
バスに乗り込みました。一個確か20円ぐらいでした（安）。
それでも、ほんとに美味しかったです。
お腹一杯になったら今度は眠くなり、爆睡。zzz
ミトーという村までくるまで1,5時間ぐらいなので
往復ひたすら寝ていました。

ところで、このツアーにはベトナム人ガイドが1名いたのですが、
とにかくうるさい。。。ベトナム人てこんなにうるさいの？？？
てぐらい話かけてくる「俺様的」ガイドにうんざりしていました。
のんびり景色を見たり、友達と話をしたりしたかったのに
聞いてもいないのに長々と歴史の説明をしてきたり、
どうでもいい日本語で無理やり話に割って入ってきたり。憤慨でした。

15人ぐらいツアー参加者がいて、大半は西洋人。
おしゃべり好きな西洋人にはこれぐらいしゃべり倒すガイドが
いいのかもしれませんが、静かに見たかった我々にはちょっと迷惑なタイプでした。

ガイドのことはそれぐらいにしておいて、
ミトーはHCMから車で1時間半ぐらい
東南に走ったところにある村で、メコン川下りで有名なところです。
ミトーからボートと手漕ぎ船にのり、4つの島を巡りました。
島にはココナッツキャンディの工場、蜂蜜農園、果樹園などが
あり、それぞえ試食をしたり、お昼を食べたりして
3時ぐらいにはまたミトーからHCMに向けて帰途。

無事にツアーが終わり、カフェでフォーを食べて
お茶をしてホテルに戻り、、、

そしてこの後、意外な展開が待ち受けているのです。。。

2nd Day of Vietnam.
joined 1 day tour @ M.T. Brother Agent in Ho Chi Minh.
it cost only $7 per person!

went down to the town called Mytoh.
it is famous area called Mekong Delta.
ride on the boat in the coconut tree jungle.

today's guide (Vietnamese young man) was unbelievablly
talkative, and got tired a little bit.
will update today's picture once I got back to Japan.

As to food.
have tried several local restaurant.
*Pho 24(famous pho chain restaurant in HCM)
*Bientain (noodle except for pho, unfortunately)
hopefully will find good ones tonight and tomorrow.
So far, my stomach seems fine.

ホーチミンへ (30-May)

朝6時にサイアムからタクシーを拾い7時過ぎに空港へ。
9時のフライトが大幅に遅れて11時出発。
長いこと待たされました。

ホーチミンに着き、空港でタクシーチケット（市内へは一律5USD）を購入。
空港は物凄い数のオーディエンスが到着カウンターで待ちうけ。
大半はお出迎えを目的とした人たちじゃないのでしょうか。
釣り椅子らしき簡易型の椅子に座りただひたすらタバコをふかすおじさん連中。

こんな到着ロビーは初めてです。

ガイダンスに従ってタクシーチケットを購入したものの、
どのタクシーに乗ったらよいのかわからないし、
どんどん人が近づいてくるしでわけわからなかったです。

何とか該当タクシーを見つけ、走ること3,40分。
ベトナムの印象は…
とにかくバイクと人がそこらじゅうにいます。
皆ノーヘル、2,3人+ α 乗り当たり前。ごちゃごちゃ。
アオザイを着た美しい女性が多いんだろう…と思っていましたが、
アオザイを着ている人なんてほとんどいなかった。

今夜の宿はブイビエン通りとファングラオ通りの間を走る
小道沿いにある、1泊10USドルぐらいの安宿です。
（エアコン、シャワーもついてます！）
そこで日本からやってくる旅友を待ちます。

Came Ho Chi Minh today.

This is my first time to be in Vietnam.
Vietnam atomosphere is very, very different
from Thailand.

first of all, cars run on the left sude,
as in America.
more bikes and people are on the road.
BKK air pollution is just awsome, but
here as well.

will stay here for 3 nights, then head for Thailand
again. Actually, I already miss Thailand.
but I will enjoy staying here.

going for vcry very late lunch from now.
hope to find good place for pho (rice noodel).

空がヘン (27-May)

こんな空、日本では見れないと思って…
ほんとか分からないですが、
赤い空は空気が汚れているという証だとか。
チャオプラヤ川沿いの桟橋から見た風景でした。
回りはカップルだらけ。

prooves how dirty the air in BKK is.
this scenery was from a pier faced to Chaopraya River.
more and more couples come when it got dark...
perfect date-spot!

タイから Sawat dee kha -------- (26-May)

バンコクに来ました。
物事を考えるのも面倒くさいぐらい
毎日ひたすら暑いのです。
今日は夕方からチャオプラヤ川を水上ボートで上り
バックパッカーの巣である「カオサン」通りへ。
途中スコールのため１時間ほど雨宿りしました。
その後駅の近くの公園を散歩して見た光景です。

半円の美しい虹を見たのは何年ぶりでしょうか。
何だかいいことありそうです！

Sawat dee kha --------

Came to Bangkok, Thailand last Friday.
it is so hot every day (36-38 C, hottest).
since it is rainy season right now,
scall(shawer rain) hit once a day.
me and my friend ride on the boat running
Chaoplaya River, going up to Kaosan Street,
where many back packers gather.
but unfortunately or not, we happened to
be in shower rain and had to wait
until it stopped for 1 hour at boat station.
it seemed forever to wait for it stopped.

after it stopped rain, we walked around
the park faced to the river.

Then, this beautiful scenery came across!
how beautiful this rainbow was!!!
we realised how happy ourselves to happen
to be in this moment.

フォーが… Desperate for PHO GA...

急に食べたくなり
御徒町のベトナム料理屋さんに。
鶏肉のフォー（Pho Ga）￥850を即行オーダー。
店員の人が「ハーブはお好きですか？」と言ってくれたので
「はい」というと、ペパーミントとパクチーを多めに一皿盛って
わざわざもってきてくれた。
ハーブを入れるとさっぱりします。

実は来週ベトナムに行くことになりました。
本場のベトナム料理を味わってきます。

Suddenly, I wanted to eat Pho(Vietnamese rice noodle),
and went to Vietnamese restaurant in Okachimachi.
Ordered 'Pho ga'(￥850).
They served me a bowl of pho, plus hearve leaves(Pack-chi, and
peppermint), which added more flavor.

I am going to Ho Chi Minh next week.
will try taste genuin Vietnamse food over there.
cannot wait!!!

新宿 SHINJUKU

新宿です。
ＪＲ南口と新南口をつなぐ地上通路から
見た甲州街道とＪＲの駅です。
ハンズの帰り道でした。
途中、今年オープンしたドーナツ屋さんに
わんさか人がいて、そしてそういう行列を
写真とってる人がいました。
一時間半待ちだとか。
並んで物を買う忍耐が私にはないので
いつもココを通るたびにすごいなぁと思いながら
指をくわえて通りすぎるだけです。
いつか食べてみたいです、このクリスピー何とかドーナツ。
とろっとしてるとのうわさを聞きました。

It is Shinjuku Station and big road called 'Koushu-Kaido'.
Went to Tokyu Hands(famous expensive DIY department stores in Japan).
On the way back from Hands,
there is a famous American Donut shop.
I forgot its name, but something 'Crispy....'???

There are hundreds of people(it is true!) to get donuts!!!
I always cannot line up for buying things for more than 10 minutes,
therefore, I am always watching people who are patiently waiting
for his turn to buy donuts.

Can you believe that to get donuts, line-up and wait for
1 or 1.5 hours??? It is indeed amazing!
I also found out that some people took pictures of these
people. What was funny was, a big dog was also
lining up desperately for a donut in the rain
on the other day! It was even a touching scenery...

AKIHABARA あきはばら

Akihabara...
いつのまにか、モダンな街に大変身していました！
知らなかったです。
駅周辺の変貌ぶりに衝撃を受けたのでここに写真をアップ。
こんなのができていました。

Akihabara is famous place for the town of
many electoric stores in Tokyo.
how modern it has changed!

ベトナム料理に - Vietnamese cuisine -

最近よく行きます。
都内の有名店はチェックしてよく行っている方だと思います。
今年になってからです、こんなに頻繁に行くようになったのは。

実は以前は何年もタイ料理へ足繁く通っていました。
メニューが読めたらいいなと思い、多少なりとも
タイ語をかじってみたり、タイに行ったり。

でも、残念ながら少しだけタイ料理に飽きてしまいました。
（タイ人の知り合いの方、ごめんなさいｘｘｘ）
飽きるというより、むしろ自分の味覚が変わってきたように思います。

大体のメニューにふんだんの油を使用するタイ料理。
一方で素材をそのままタレにつけて食べる野菜サラダや
生春巻きのシンプルかつ新鮮さが好きなのかもしれません。
メニューによりけりですが随分あっさりしています。
歳をとった証拠ですね。

ぎっしり詰まった生春巻きや、ダシの効いたフォー。
そんな一品に出会えた日はとても幸せです。

ベトナム料理に通い始めてふと思いました。
好みはあるにしても、店によってここのフォーがすごくおいしいけど
生春がイマイチ。。。とか、この店は生春巻きがヒット、でもサラダがちょっと。。。
といった感じでメリハリがあるように思えます。
ベトナム料理はタイ料理ほどメニューの品揃えがないし、
一品一品にカラー（個性）があります。

Often go to Vietnamese restaurants recently.
used to be goin to Thai restaurants for a few years, though.
Maybe, I ate Thai food too much.
Or, I guess my taste has changed to light-seasoned meals.
Prefer simple vegetable-oriented Vietnamese food to
plenty oil-used Thai food. Sorry for some Thai friends(><)xxx

When I met tasty Vietnamese food such as pho(rice noodle),
goi cuon(shrimp rolls), feel so happy(^^)/

found out that a certain meal in this restaurant is
so great, while other meals are not so much.
Strongness and weakness shows cloear color of restaurant.
I did not feel like this so much when I went to Thai restaurants
in the past. Judgement was based on the total meals.

かえるの季節

新緑の鉢植えに眠そうなかえるを発見しました。
一年の中でこのやわらかい緑を見せ始める
5月、6月が一番好きです。
子供だった時はあまがえるなんて
素手で平気で掴んでいたのに
今は怖くてできなくなりました。
おしっこかけられるのも分かってますし。
歳をとったり、経験することで得た知識が
よくもわるくも素直な行動を邪魔することが多々あります。
自分の心の声を上手に聞いてあげるようにしないと
いけないと思います。
といっても、今日は特にかえるを掴みたかったわけで
はありませんが（笑）。

I found a flog between brandnew green leaves.
how sleepy he looks!

Japan has mainly 4 seasons.
It is in the middle of spring and summer right nowin Tokyo.
This season is my favorite, for I can
see very brandnew green in many places.
Green color is not dark, but just looks like soft
baby-borned green.

I used to be able to catch flogs (small ones)with my hand
so easily, but not any more.
Maybe I can easily imagine he will pee on me if I touch him.

Getting aged and gaining life-experiences will bring us
clever knowledge to predict things,
but sometimes tend to be an obstacle
when we want/need to listen to our honest inner voices.
sometimes need to listen to and get along with them.

Oh, by the way, I did not mean that I want to
touch him today, though.

スタバで

カフェラテ（S）をオーダー。310円。
決して安くはないですが
スタバのラテはミルクが喉にまったりする感覚が
とても心地よくて個人的にとても好んでいます。
何だか使用しているミルクが一味違う気がするのは
気のせいでしょうか。きっとそれだけで飲んでも
美味しいはずです。
シャープなコーヒーをストレートで飲みたいときは
ドトールの本日のコーヒーやシーガフリードの
エスプレッソ。
フローズン系のデザート色が強い飲み物は
はタリーズが多いような気がします。

こうしてみてみると沢山のチェーン店舗を改めて
思い浮かべてみました。
ベローチェ、エクセルシオールカフェ、
シーガフリード（店舗少なくなっちゃったけど）。。。
Blenzというところも最近よく行ってました。
（サービススタンプがあったので）。

フランチャイズの店も、この店舗の味はいいけど、
雰囲気がいまいちだとか、その逆だったり、
窓からの眺めがよいとか
何かしらお気に入りの店舗がいくつかあります。
居心地のよいところにはついつい長居をしてしまいます。
でも、豆の知識など特にこだわりはありませんので
その時の店の雰囲気に自分のフィーリングが合うか
でジャッジしてます。

お昼代を削ってでも、コーヒーは1日必ず（最低）一杯は飲んでいます。。
コーヒーを美味しく感じない時は体調が優れない日。
今日はまぁまぁでした。

Ordered Stabucks Latte (￥310）.
not so cheap, but I personally like it
because the milk tastes different from
other franchized coffee shops.
Maybe, milk tastes good itself, too.

We have many franchised shops in Tokyo, such as
Dotour, Tully's, Veloce, Excelcior Cafe, Blenz,
Segafredo, etc.
When it comes to Latte;Starbucks,
filtered coffee; Dotour, Segafredo(espresso)
Frappechino; Tully's...
realised that I often order like that.

I have some favorite shops in Tokyo
where I feel comfortable enough to stay for hours.
The tasete of drinks in shops are slightly varied,
depends on which one to go,
even among the same franchised stores.

I am willing to spend my mony for a cup of coffee every day,
even though I can not eat georgeous lunch.
Feel helthy or not, by drinking coffee every day.
Today was so-so.

2つのお祭り

今週末は二つのお祭りに行ってきました。
昨日は代々木であった「タイフェスティバル」。
そして今日は神田の「神田祭り」です。

どちらも天気には恵まれ、晴天の中
集まった人々の熱気や活気をぐっと感じてきました。
当たり前ですが、タイと日本、しかも
歴史が全然違うので、かなり対照的なお祭りでした。

タイフェスティバルは今まで何回か行ったことがありますが
今年はどこの屋台もメニューが似たりよったりで
ちょっとつまらなく思いましたが。。。

神田際は神田にある町（例えば須田町、美土代町等）を代表して
2、30名（いや、もっとかもしれない）で立派なおみこしを
かついで決まったルートを周った後、神田明神という神社の境内に
戻ってくるという流れでした。
境内はごったがえしており、この様子はよく見れなかったのですが
おっさんやおばちゃん、ティーンや子供たちまで
とっても素敵なイナセ姿に心がうきうきしたのでした。

個人的にはやっぱり神田際のほうが好きかもしれないです。
（日本人なので…）

I went to 2 festivals on this weekend.
Yesterday; Thai Festival in Yoyogi-Park(Shibuya),
Today; Kanda Festival(Kanda, Chiyoda-ku).
Thai Festival is 8th this year, while Kanda Fes
has a long histry since 17th century(more than 400 years!!!)

We had hot shiny weather for both days,
which was really good to be in them.

I personally like latter, maybe I am too Japanese...
