最終日のフォー (2-Jun)

今朝11時のフライトで私はBKK、
旅友は日本へ帰国します。

最終日の朝食には必ずPHOを食べようと意気込んで昨日は寝ました。

7時起床、7時半ぐらいにはアパート下でオジサンにタクシーを拾ってもらい、
「フォー・ファー」という地もっ子間で人気のフォー店舗に行きました。
摘みたてのフレッシュバジルやペパーミントをちぎって
ふんだんにフォーの中に入れて食べます。

鶏肉も牛肉も、とにかく「だし」が効いていておいしい店でした。
フォー一杯が大体230円程度。
ハーブも入れたい放題でやっぱり本場ならではのサービスです。

ところで、ベトナムでは、食事前に出てくるオシボリが有料です。
しかも、洗剤のような人工的な香りがしてならないのです。
それでもはじめは知らずに使っていたのですが、
チャージされていることに気づいてからは
なるべく使わないようになりました。

旅先でありがちな、知らず知らずのうちに
しれーっと上乗せされていたり
うまい具合にぼられるようになってるんです。

Me, flying back to BKK, while my friend, to Japan today.

Before our flights, we went to a famous PHO shop, called 'PHO PHAA'.
ordered PHO GA (chiken rice noodle) and PHO BO(beef rice noodle).
added fresh basil, peppermint into the bowl, which is
very Vietnamese style. We can eat PHO in Japan, but
never seen this plenty of hearves served together.
cost￥230 each. Maybe, this could be the best PHO during this trip.

By the way, paper towel before meal in restaurants in Vietname,
is not free. We used them often, but after realised that it was not
free, we tried not to use any more.
smells bad (like strong detergent smell), too.
