なんと、ベトナム人の家庭に急遽ホームステイをすることに！
同伴の友人がいたのだけど（私はタイからベトナムへ、その人は
日本からベトナムへ別々に行き、現地で合流）、
飛行機で隣の席に座ったベトナム人のおばさんと知り合いになったとのこと。
その人は日本には出張でよく行くらしいのです。
昼間のミトーツアー後、夕方その人の家に行くことに。
我々が滞在していた「Be Saigon」という
バックパッカー向けのInnまで
21歳の娘さんとその叔父がのバイクに乗って迎えに来てくれました。
我々は大きなスーツケースを持ってて、こんなの
バイクにどうやって乗せるのだろう？？？と不思議に思っていたのですが
いとも簡単に、ひょっこりバイクの真ん中に乗せて
思いっきりノーヘル（こっちの人はみんなヘルメットかぶりません）で
ホーチミン市を横断。一区にあるおばさんの家へ向かいました。
バイクは爽快でした！
その後娘さんとそのボーイフレンドの4人でベトナム料理のレストランで食事をしました。
そこは「Independent Hall」（旧大統領官邸）の向かいの通りにあり、
生春巻きを筆頭に代表的な南部のベトナム料理がじもっ子にも人気とのこと。
が、、、残念ながらレストランに行ったのは9時過ぎで（まだ早いのに…）
頼むもの頼むものほとんどが完売していて、生春巻きさえも無かったのです。。。
結局食べたのは
・ロータス（蓮）サラダ ← 蓮が酢漬けですっぱかったけどあっさり美味しかった
・ライススパゲッティ（透明な「うどん」といった感じの食感）←意外においしかった。日本にはない。
・バイン・セオ（ベトナム風オムレツ）←日本のよりもびっくりするぐらいパリパリ。
沢山のハーブをレタスに巻いてガブ。うまい。
どれも味はいけてたかな。
お腹はいっぱいにはならなかったけど、頼むものがほとんどないので、
場所を変えてコーヒーでも飲もうということになり、またバイク移動。
ゲストだからといって二人のカップルが奢ってくれました。
ご馳走様でした。
その後連れていってくれたカフェ＆バーはとってもハイソでおしゃれだったなー。
地元のヤングマンや西洋人でにぎわっていました。
それでも、コーヒー一杯が20,000ドン（200円ぐらい）だったので
日本価格と比べると破格。
でも場所は全く分かりませんでした。
ホームステイ記続く。。。

after Mitoh Tour, we had an appoitment with a Vietnamese
lady who lives in the1st District in HCM.
My accompany(Japanese friend, who came from Japan),
met this lady on the airplane from Tokyo to HCM.
this lady asked my friend to visit her house
after arriving to HCM.
She often travel to Japan for business.
Then, her daughter (21-year-old) and her uncle
came to our accommodation by motor-bike to pick us up.
We had big suite-cases each other, so wondered how
can we carry this with motor bikes???
Actually, it was so easy and simple.
put suite-case between riders.
people here ride on bikes witout helmets.
we just were heading for this lady's house.
It was an awsome experience!
After arrival to her house,
daughter and her boyfriend took us to
a Vietnamese restaurant by bike.
It was famouse for southern Vietnamese
traditional food, located near 'Independent Hall'.
by the time we arrived @ the restaurant,
it was after 9 p.m.
unfortunately, row spring rolls(nama-harumaki)
and other famouse food were already finished.
could not believe!!!
so bad not able to try these food, but food
there was exciting.
Since there were almost nothing to order,
we moved to cafe & bar for coffee.
It was really high-so and fashionable place.
enjoyed coffee and talk with these people.
coffee there was about 20,000VND(1.5 USD)!
